Designer, Standardization (all genders) -Engineering Services EMEA-
What you can change — your duties
- Review the existing standard parts portfolio together with GPL Business Excellence and Engineering
- Define and mark preferred standard parts in PLM
- Apply Design for Manufacturing principles in cooperation with GPL and ME Excellence, which simplify the assembly process by reducing complexity
- Assess and enhance part standardization efforts using metrics like costs, quality, and part count
- Use modern 3D similarity search functionalities or other provided new technologies
- Train and support Designers to learn how to use and integrate standard/preferred parts management into the product design work
Impress us – your qualifications
- Product Designer, Technician or comparable qualification
- Long-term professional experience in automotive engineering/ industry
- Confident appearance, highest reliability and integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Advanced knowledge of 3DExperience - ENOVIA
- Basic knowledge of TAS
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
