What you can change — your duties
- Overseeing the entire EMEA Operations Seatbelts in terms of maintaining stable production that produces parts on time and with the necessary quality.
- Ensuring production processes are aligned with internal and customer requirements, following legal and environmental responsibilities.
- Preparing and monitoring of the cost budget, as well as ensuring that cost targets are met for each production area.
- Consistent reporting about the progress of running projects and potential obstacles.
- Assess global production trends, integrating technology, legislation and optimize our resources towards our innovation strategy.
- Implementation of efficiency measures to secure the operating result in cooperation with other departments.
- Taking responsibility for successful production launches.
- Lead and develop a team of talented individuals, guiding them towards success and fostering a culture of innovation and improvement, while maintaining an open and team-oriented working atmosphere.
Impress us – your qualifications
- Master´s degree in relevant engineering area or equivalent degree required, with a focus on manufacturing technology
- Several years of experience in the automotive industry, in leadership functions
- In-depth expertise in automotive engineering, particularly with a focus on production technology
- Profound understanding of production processes and industry regulations
- Close cooperation with the Manufacturing Engineering in accordance with internal benchmarks and process specifications
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, paired with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as assertiveness
- Strategic thinker as well as an action-minded problem-solver experienced with appropriate methodological competencies
- Outstanding intercultural communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, using state-of-the art IT tools, etc.
- Fluency in English; any other language is considered advantageous
- Willingness to travel
