System and Tool Administrator (all genders) Global Electronics

The System and Tool Administrator is responsible for maintenance and administration of software tools and systems that enable collaboration, development and test activities and help engineering teams to automate their processes. They will also be responsible for helping innovate new and improved solutions for existing products as well as bridge the gap between otherwise disconnected systems.

What you can change — your duties

  • Administration, maintenance and monitoring of server-based tools
  • User and rights management and support
  • Setting up new tools and systems
  • Troubleshooting (e.g. interface with tool vendor support, import backups, restore databases)
  • Thoroughly develop documentation to accompany all devised work products
  • Administrate digital assets/licenses
  • Support the engineering team with automation tasks

Impress us – your qualifications

  • Experience as a system administrator
  • Demonstrated knowledge in databases and tools based on databases
  • In the best case already supported the following tools: IBM DOORS, Tortoise SVN, Atlassian Jira, Enterprise Architect
  • Proficient with the following: Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
  • Familiarity with the concepts behind AGILE/SCRUM
  • Familiarity with the concept and common tools regarding continuous integration
  • Ability to set, switch, and scrap tasks as necessary
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English, basic knowledge of German is an advantage
