Supplier Risk Manager - Global Supplier Risk Management

As the Global Supplier Risk Manager, you will be part of a growing, agile and diverse team delivering a world class Global Procurement transformation. You will be an important part of this effort; developing the design, Implementing, and managing supplier risk initiatives across global supply base. This includes the development and implementation of Supplier Risk Framework and Governance, fostering cross functional relationships, delivering risk programs to achieve excellence in supplier risk management, as well as, building our sustainable Procurement strategy.

What you can change — your duties

Create and promote the Supplier Governance Policy and Supplier Risk Management System to ensure supplier risk awareness and ongoing compliance ;

Define mitigation action plan per categories in cooperation with Supply Chain and Procurement teams;

Provide risk guidance and support to Sourcing and Procurement operations teams to ensure effective due diligence, risk reduction and monitoring;

Conduct due diligence on their direct suppliers and subcontractors in accordance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct and applicable legal requirements (e.g. German Supply Chain Due Diligence Law), promote transparency and traceability and use their best efforts to implement Sustainability standards further along the supply chain, and cascade JSS Supplier Code of Conduct and related policies along the supply chain;

Developing a management system that promotes supply chain traceability and transparency, and by implementing due diligence measures in accordance with OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas and applicable legal requirements (e.g. US and EU Conflict Minerals legislation);

Identify critical and high-risk suppliers, set out targeted risk reduction programs and actions;

Prepare quarterly Risk updates presentations to Leadership Team;

Act as a control point to ensure good governance and compliance, being vigilant for and escalating potential risk concerns;

Work in partnership with Supply Chain Leaders to define and build the Sustainable Procurement roadmap from supplier selection to post contracting and development;

Implement risk initiatives at a global and local level to ensure alignment with the business;

Maintain risk assessment and segmentation, minimum control standards and KRIs metrics/compliance reporting across our existing supplier base;

Implement targeted awareness communication and training initiatives for key risks - e.g. Cyber Crime, Financial Evaluation, Data Privacy and Business Continuity;

Maintain and develop program reporting, risk data and artefact capture to ensure the necessary transparency & control - including Key Performance/Risk Indicator (KPIs/KRIs) reporting and dashboard updates;

Impress us – your qualifications

University degree in business administration or comparable studies ;

Demonstrated experience in Supplier Risk Management or Business Risk Management;

Experience in conducting supplier due diligence in accordance with the OECD Due Diligence guidelines and applicable legal requirements, such as US and EU Conflict Minerals legislation;

Experience to work in a larger scale company;

Strong collaborative team member, multi-cultural and/or global experience;

Demonstration of JSS core values: team spirit, customer focus, creativity, quality orientation and cost awareness;

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook and PowerPoint as well as a Global Purchasing System;

Strong Business Excellence thinking. (Problem solving tools such as LEAN; 6S, KAIZEN and or RedX).
