Design, develop and deliver effective operating systems and solutions that are aligned with business strategies and highlight opportunities for transforming the manufacturing performances in terms of productivity, cost, quality and safety.

Develop and design robust manufacturing concepts to simplify/improve manufacturing processes, perform structural analyses of components and assemblies, build prototypes, evaluate performance, identify issues, and make improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a natural desire to improve processes and a drive to lead dynamic projects.

What you can change — your duties

Develop, optimize and maintain floor layouts for installation of new, or rearrangement of existing equipment

Perform bottleneck analysis and value stream mapping to optimize the production flow and standard times

Define “best in class” line capacity management process for global rollout and develop tools to balance line capacities under variable customer volume demands

Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes, identify value-added and non-value-added activities

Review quotes, prints, and approval drawings to ensure adherence to specifications and process requirements

Supports manufacturing safety performance through the design of ergonomic solutions

Provide Industrial Engineering costs and labor estimates for potential new product programs

Manage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects, and mentor fellow team members during projects

Provide input on the capital plan, including facility expansion and selection, specifications, and process integration of manufacturing equipment

Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilize Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to formulate/support innovation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities

Create and maintain required manufacturing process documentation, including process flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, labor utilization, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis.

Impress us – your qualifications

University degree in Industrial Engineering or related field

Over 10 years experience in Industrial Engineering

Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology

Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience leading change and delivering value

High stress tolerance, good communication and interpersonal skills

Problem solving abilities, negotiation, presentation skills

Strategic thinker and team oriented,

Willingness to travel.
