Corporate Responsible Sourcing Manager (all genders)
What you can change — your duties
- Maintain and improve processes to ensure supplier / vendor compliance with JSS’s Supplier Code of Conduct through contracts, third-party audits, and other industry best practices
- Regularly assess identified risks associated with specific geographies, vendors, and issues within JSS’s supply chain to prioritize JSS’s responsible sourcing efforts effectively
- Advise internal clients (including without limitation the Purchasing department) and collaborate with suppliers to initiate and complete corrective action plans or terminate contracts when JSS’s Supplier Code of Conduct or other standards are violated or other issues arise
- Collaborate with Legal, Purchasing and Export Control teams to stay up-to-date with relevant supply chain laws and regulations and ensure internal business partners are aware of critical developments in responsible sourcing, like US Customs’ Withhold Release Orders, EUFLR, etc., and understand the business implications
- Effectively communicate supplier sustainability/ESG goals, progress, and milestones both internally and externally.
- Establish KPIs to monitor social and environmental performance of business partners.
Impress us – your qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field ideally with a with a focus on sustainability/ESG
- Several years’ experience in responsible sourcing, sustainability, compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience
- Strong Project Management & Organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and, as a plus, in Data Visualization tools (specifically Power BI or Tableau)
- Strong experience with analyzing data and forming insights, actions, and strategies
- Take initiative and think ahead of the problem
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
