Our team in Arad needs support and we are seeking:
Manager EMEA APQP
What you can change — your duties
Lead EMEA APQP department and ensure the continuous development of its employees
Standardize and implement metrics to measure workload and performance of APQP
Oversee the plant’s APQP activities and initiate measures to increase its efficiency
Monitor status of APQP activities of customer application (CPAE) and change projects, manage problem resolution and escalate problems identified in an appropriate way; monitor on-time execution and result of Mass production readiness checks (MPRC)
Assure on-time submission of initial samples (PPAP) to the Customer
Harmonize existing processes in plants and further standardize APQP processes
Develop structure for more flexible transfer of APQP resources between sites (remote)
Be the point of escalation in APQP matters in case of problems from internal or external parties
Support implementation of global and regional Quality initiatives into the plants and ensure continuous improvement
Implement regular reporting structure (exchange) with plant APQP department leads
Support budget and headcount planning
Impress us – your qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar
5+ years of professional experience in quality planning
Product and Process Know How
Knowledge of applicable PPAP requirements (VDA 2, AIAG) and applicable customer specific requirements
Experience in negotiation with customers and suppliers
Leadership experience and skills as well as strong communication skills.
