Software Development Engineer (Cybersecurity Focus) (all genders) EMEA Electronics
Was Sie bewegen können — Ihre Aufgaben.
Design and implement security-critical software features such as Secure Boot, Secure Update, and Security Access for automotive ECUs.
Configure and integrate AUTOSAR modules (e.g., SECOC, Crypto, CSM, DCM) with a focus on secure communication and data protection.
Ensure software solutions meet cybersecurity standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE WP.29/R155, as well as functional safety standards like ISO 26262.
Analyze and refine cybersecurity-related requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with customer specifications.
Act as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity within software development projects, supporting both design and implementation phases.
Work closely with system architects, hardware engineers, and test teams to develop secure and reliable automotive systems.
Participate in agile workflows including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration, with a focus on secure software practices.
Conduct rigorous development testing and validation of cybersecurity features to ensure robustness and compliance.
Create detailed software designs (e.g., UML diagrams) and maintain clear, testable documentation using tools like DOORS.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes in line with Automotive SPICE and cybersecurity best practices.

University degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Several years of professional experience in the field of embedded software development, ideally in the automotive industry
Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture and basic experience is a strong advantage.
High interest in developing expertise in automotive cybersecurity, including standards like ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE WP.29/R155.
Willingness to actively learn and apply cybersecurity principles, tools, and practices in real-world projects.
Ability to work closely with experienced engineers across software, hardware, and system domains in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Interest in learning how to analyze, document, and manage software and security requirements using tools like DOORS.
Openness to agile workflows including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration.
Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and testable code while contributing to secure and reliable software solutions.
Desire to evolve into a cybersecurity specialist role in the software field through structured development, training, and project involvement.
