What you can change — your duties
- Define process standards, key technologies, and manufacturing / equipment concepts and standards for steering wheel electronics
- Align manufacturing concepts to define global standards, building on best in class production methods and know-how from the regions/ divisions
- Recommend, develop and define process and technology roadmaps together with operational units
- Coordinate global experts in manufacturing engineering regarding standardization and modularization of manufacturing processes
- Identify key processes, compare existing approaches and make proposals for improvements, standardization and automation
- Analyze potential production methods and concepts, including considerations on flexibility and modularization of equipment
- Foster and enable global information exchange and benchmarking regarding manufacturing technologies and processes
Impress us – your qualifications
- Successfully completed studies as a mechanical engineer, technician or Toolmaker foreman.
- Professional experience in Process standardization, Process development and Automation
- Several years of professional experience in project management
- Experience in automotive industry, electronics steering wheel would be advantageous
- Programming knowledge in various systems
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); any other language is considered advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular Power Point and Excel
- Willingness to perform and result-oriented method of working as well as interdisciplinary thinking
