Our team in Arad needs support and we are seeking:
Plant Buyer - Production Purchasing
What you can change — your duties
Ensure the procurement and handling of production material, in terms of best cost, quality and timing, coordination of all procurement activities;
Manage production supply base through the life time;
Supporting Commodity Buyers in creating long term cost containment strategies with key suppliers ;
Price negotiations, supplier selection, Conclusion of Contracts, in time readiness of tooling and component, processing and execution of supplier inquiries, cost recovery actions (quality Claim Management) ;
Execute local cost savings initiatives thru lean and CRP initiative;
Change Management after SOP (technical, supplier, relocation and any other changes);
Service Parts Management;
Manage capacity and delivery issues.
Impress us – your qualifications
University degree (Technical or Economical);
Relevant experience in purchasing is an advantage;
Fluent in English (German is an advantage);
Analytical, determined and persuasive person;
Strong knowledge of negotiating techniques and basic technical knowledge;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team work oriented, strong problem solving abilities.
