Our team in Arad needs support and we are seeking:
PROJECT PURCHASING LEADER, Seatbelt
What you can change — your duties
− Lead Purchasing activities for new business;
− Develop the Cost book (BOM Business Case Cost), in accordance with Global Commodity Managers and Regional Strategic Buyers for each specified commodity;
− Coordinate with Business Unit Engineering for technology considerations for future pursuit opportunities;
− Challenge Regional Strategic Buyers, GCMs and engineering for cost competitive and efficient designs/processes as part of the Matched Pair process;
− Support the BOM Risk Assessment, so the launching organization understands the Cost book and supplier assumptions;
− Manage the Capital Expense forecasts for pursuits, or any production change capital investment required;
− Communicate program capacity requirements to purchasing team for pursuits as well as engineering changes for production programs;
− Manage program launches for purchasing;
− Ensure that the BOM is launched on time at book cost;
− Coordinate sourcing done by Regional Strategic Buyers to achieve aforementioned goals;
− Track supplier tooling lead time and PPAP delivery;
− Track program cost for piece price and tooling.;
− Work with Buyers, Engineering and GCM’s to ensure on time sourcing and report supplier performance for program launch;
− Work with and assist Supplier Quality to manage timing for APQP and confirm completion of critical APQP elements, Design Reviews, Project Reviews, Launch Readiness Reviews, and Safe Launch Plans.
Impress us – your qualifications
− Master of Science Degree;
− Experience: min. 2 years at similar position;
− English- C1 ( Chinese advantage);
− Presentation and meeting leading skills;
− Knowledge in information security;
− Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environment;
− Analytical thinking and ability to gather/gain key information;
− Risk management skills;
− Trade knowledge;
− Knowledge of quality standards for automotive;
− Knowledge of quote comparison & evaluation and method of saving generation.
