Our team in Arad needs support and we are seeking:
IT Specialist Database Administrator MS SQL IT EMEA Department (Job location in Arad / Timisoara / Sibiu)
What you can change — your duties
— Support and further development of the existing On-Premise SQL Database landscape to provide a 24x7 Business Platform
— Perform load and performance analysis, and troubleshoot database issues
— Responsibility for the further and new development (incl. Automation) of operational and change processes
— Support and advice in projects with your expertise, support in planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the relevant IT projects, provide also support for internal and external software development partners
— Implementation of changes and ticket processing
— Internal communication with all involved departments
Impress us – your qualifications
— University degree (in Computer science, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration with a focus on IT)
— Professional experience in the IT environment of a globally operating Enterprise company
— Several years of project experience
— Very good knowledge of SQL Server 2008 – 2022 (Administration, Backup and Recovery)
— Programming skills in SQL, PL/SQL and PowerShell script are an advantage
— Good knowledge of operating systems Windows Server, vmware Virtualization and Azure Cloud Computing Platform
— Fluent in English (German is an advantage)
— Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork oriented, strong problem-solving abilities.
