The Specialist Business Data will be an integrated member of the Corporate Purchasing Controlling Team and reports directly to the Director Global Purchasing Controlling. She/He ensures the in-time collection of all business relevant Information, Data and KPI from the regions as well as does first plausibility checks. In case of implausibility’s she/he requests explanations from the Data’s origin. The role is the interface to ensure all relevant Data are available for further processing and Analysis
What you can change — your duties
- Executing Procurement Controlling function to support the functional steering of Group wide procurement activities
- Support to create a transparent, complete and consistent reporting for JSS Procurement; steering of specific Procurement KPI across all JSS Purchasing organizations
- Driving ongoing development of financial and non-financial KPI; global implementation of KPI across all Regions
- Support multi-entity global consolidations; ensuring comparison of actual/ target budget and forecast values in the region reporting and support gap closure initiatives
- Support procurement forecasts, annual budgeting, and long range planning processes for global procurement
- Organizing and accompanying the Procurement reviews with the Cluster Management, Regional Procurement Head`s
- Support provisioning market intelligence, identifying Procurement risks and opportunities and ensuring data transparency
- Assist Procurement Controlling function to support functional steering of Group wide procurement activities
- Constant monitoring and reporting of target achievement and procurement activities of individual regions with regard to relevant Procurement KPI (e.g. suppliers, price sources, e. auctions, BCC-sourcing, etc.) in collaboration with the regions
- Gathering Data according defined data structure and consolidation and data cleansing
- Supporting development of a comprehensive IT-infrastructure for Procurement in coordination with regions
- Execution of plausibility checks and analyses of all kinds
- Answering ad hoc inquiries from Global Purchasing management
- Provisioning of supply market intelligence for JSS
Impress us – your qualifications
- College/university degree in business administration or comparable studies
- Demonstrated experience in Controlling and / or Purchasing Controlling
- Multi-cultural and/or global experience
- Self-motivated team player with a strong ability to build relationships
- Strong Analytic thinker but with an execution bias
- Deemed as transformational and/or a change agent
- Comfortable with functioning in a global matrix operating environment
- Demonstration of JSS core values: team spirit, customer focus, creativity, quality orientation and cost awareness
- Awareness for absolute data integrity
- Advanced MS Office skills especially Excel including PowerPoint; Microsoft Power BI experience or
- basic knowledge of SQL / data base queries is a plus
