What you can change — your duties

• Responsible for establishing a Global Methodology and Team Structure for Monitoring of Suppliers after Qualification in addition to establishing Supplier Development activities.
• Part of the Global Supplier Quality Management Leadership team
• Promote a strong collaboration between the regions thereby capitalizing on global knowledge and competence sharing within team. Form strategic alliances and partnerships that will enable supplier operations to achieve higher levels of supplier industrialization to better fulfill the corporate and market requirements
• Ensure a close interaction with suppliers by developing the team to ensure common strategy and performance expectation is driven and communicated to the suppliers
• Assume ownership for assessing supplier’s performance using data and scorecards. Low performing suppliers must be addressed swiftly and aggressively and in alignment with Operations and Engineering.
• Conduct monthly supplier performance reviews with each region and deploy all tools needed to improve part containment, internal communication, and overall supplier performance. This includes monthly Supplier Days, resourcing, and visits to poor performing suppliers.
• Drive a “zero defects” attitude across the department.
• Drive actions to achieve KPI’s and support all supplier quality, capacity and cost targets
• Secure that the lessons learned are documented and shared regularly.
• Work together with the Purchasing colleagues to define supplier strategy with active participation in supplier nominations in every region.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for managing functionaly one or more subordinates and participate on the coordination and evaluation of these individuals.
