Customs Expert – Principal Plant (all genders)
What you can change — your duties
- Ensuring compliance with customs processes
- Coordination and supervision of the work of customs brokers and the internal team within the toll manufacturing
- concept with the performance of audits
- Representation of the principal plant in projects
- Coordination of AEO and other customs related audits
- Maintenance of customs authorizations and application for new authorizations on the basis of business requirements
- Tracking of defined key performance indicators and reporting to regional organization
- Creating work instructions
Impress us – your qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in economics, logistics or similar
- At least 5 years of professional experience in international trade, customs or logistics field, ideally in an international
- company
- Business fluent English skills in written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
- Good understanding of customs regulations, import/export laws, and international trade compliance
- Familiarity with SAP
- Deep knowledge of customs compliance, AEO certification, and audit procedures
- Analytical skills to assess risks and implement corrective actions
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to represent the principal plant in cross-functional projects
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams and external parties
